Work has now started on the Community Garden with the initial footpath being put in place.

The first step is to plant the hedgerows that need to be done before the end of the tree planting season.

In collaboration with the school there will be the first of many ‘Peggy’s Garden & Grow Community Gardening Days’ on 9th March 2019 between 11am and 3pm (next Saturday).

Anyone who would like to be involved with making a contribution to the community garden and doesn’t mind getting their ‘hands dirty’ is invited to come along to the playing field to help and find out more about the project.

Gloves and spades are essential and refreshments will be available!
