After the success of the Yorkshire leg of the ‘Tour de France’ last year, this year sees the first ‘Tour de Yorkshire’ taking place between 1st-3rd May and Kildwick will play its part!

It will be a televised event that will take in many sights of Yorkshire that looked so spectacular last summer, as well as new ones including Kildwick.

The proposed route for the 3rd May means the cyclists will arrive into the village on Main Road before continuing up Priest Bank Road past the Church, School and Playing field.

Exciting news for the village and Yorkshire as a whole!

Let’s get out and give the event a proper Yorkshire welcome!
